Corporate Partners
United Way has established workplace giving and volunteering programs amongst hundreds of businesses Australia-wide ranging in size from 20 to 3000 employees.
There are a significant number of corporations that support the work of United Way funds across several states and locations and are regarded as our National Corporate Partners.
There is an even greater number of corporations that partner only with their local United Way.
Regardless of whether support is local, or Australia wide, our corporate partners are an essential element in the United Way network and their contribution to our ability to improve lives in our local communities is highly valued.
Community Partners
We refer to the local charities that benefit from United Way grants as our Community Partners.
That is an important concept as United Way seeks to achieve a positive community impact in supporting local causes and that requires mutual understanding and co-operation between United Way as the funding body and the local charity that receives the funds and delivers the services within the community.
The United Way network across Australia supports over 500 local charities and is currently distributing over $5,000,000 each year.
